"Checking in from the Fun Run at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Yet another good day to be a buckethead! We went to an old swinging bridge this morning. The bridge was so old and so narrow that some folks had reservations about going across it. One at a time, we all crossed and safely made it to the other side. Not certain of the name of the bridge, but we stopped in the middle and could feel it swing back and forth like a rocking chair. Truly amazing. From there, we all went to St. Elizabeth, Missouri. This charming town boasts a population of 336 and covers about 1 square mile. It was founded around 1877 and reportedly was named after princess St. Elizabeth of Hungary (early 1200's). Miss Kitty's Restaurant is where we enjoyed lunch. It looks like Miss Kitty favors the legendary Miss Kitty from the Gunsmoke television show. I will let you be the judge, she is the lady with the lovely auburn hair in the group photos. The weather was great and roads were smooth. When we made it back to the hotel, Sal told me that we travelled about 95 miles round trip." (Thanks for the pics, Emo!)
