Re: Uncle Larry
Dewey, I’m not going to bring the track this year. I’m going on to New Hampshire after the Nats and that’s just too far to lug that track in the top of my trailer. Maybe with everyone’s help we could rig up a temporary track out of some plywood and 2 X 4 s . We would have to bring some drills , impact screw guns , saws, etc but with enough help we could probably pull something off. Dwell on it a couple of days and let me know.
Vroom man could probably bring lots of stuff in his new TRAILER. He He LOL.

Re: Uncle Larry
Uncle Larry I could do that if I was bring my big trailer. Springfield is on 6ish hours away so we will just drive it there.
I can bring my cordless drill and help if needed. 20 mpg is a lot better the 9 mpg, and I don't think there is much of a chance of a BLIZZARD in June

Sounds good, I’ll bring my drill, impact ,cordless saw, screws, etc. We can cobble something together. Now if Dewey says he’s going to win it all, then we can just make the finish line the edge of the swimming pool!!!!
I know what you mean about that 9 mpg. I just remembered , the first Springfield Nats was the first time for the valve cover track, and it was the first time for Rolla’s new car, finished up in the hotel parking lot.

Springfield was my first Nationals. I did not have my car there. 3 days before leaving for it I got my plates for the car, but it was not ready for that drive.

Springfield 2008 was our first Nationals, also! I, too remember Rolla finishing up his car and a certain builder making an a$$ of himself.

I can bring the starting gate but not the platform. Maybe we could use Dewey’s transport locker for the platform.

Re: Uncle Larry
Looks like your cad dwg nailed it Paul. It was three 8 ft lenghths of plywood long, 48 high platform and has two outside curbs and one centered making two lanes approx. 16 inches wide. 36 inch total width would work out minus the curbs.
