Anyone from AZ intending to attend?

This might be a bit premature as my life right now is in a spin dryer, but... (I have looked at the pre-registrations and don't see any AZ's)

If, and that's a big IF, I get my Bucket finished in time I would like to attend The Nats. However, IF I do get it finished it will not have been tested or broken in. So a drive of that length could be full of adventure (read "issues") and IF I go I'd like to convoy with at least one other person. Wouldn't need to be for the full trip, could meet in New Mexico or wherever.

I calculate I have 10 weekends to get it done. Eight would give me a week to test.

As a side note, anyone in AZ, Phoenix metro or Tucson, got any T Bucket or Chevy 350 parts for sale at a good price? A transmission (of any kind) would be good. Anything else considered.

I'll keep you informed on the status of the build and if it looks like a no-go I'll let you know by mid May.

I'm sure Chris and Shari Ward will be at the Nationals. There are several others from over there that are likely to make it. We have invited the Wards to stop by our place here in Texas on the way, and you are welcome, too. I haven't heard if they will come by or not.
