. . . for Safety Day at Cuz's next Saturday, April 2. You fella's who completed over-the-winter projects on your buckets, this is the perfect opportunity to show-off your work, and let another pair(s) of eyes look over your vehicle for safety/reliability issues. I plan to have my bucket there!!!

Can you share the format and/or checklists that you use for the Safety Days? Maybe we can get this event to take root throughout the country!

Mark - I think we started out using the NSRA guidelines, which included things like seatbelts, third brake lights, Park/Neutral Safety Switches, etc. At that time, Punkun was an alternate judge for NSRA and a member of our chapter so that was the format. Now, it is a little more informal, with people just pointing out things that might need correcting. Maybe we should develop our own NTBA guidelines. What do the rest of you think???

I think that developing our own guidelines is a brilliant idea! It could go a long way to making our member's rides much safer!!
