Our wonderful Pres, Rolla, filled the bill as the grill master, and burgers and hotdogs were cooked to perfection and consumed in great quantities. Members supplied the sides and desserts, and if anyone did not get more than enough to eat, it was their own fault!
There were a couple of other rods present: a really sweet '40 Ford Pickup, and the outstanding Model T Tudor belonging to Bill Cook shown below . . .
Unfortunately, yours-truly's new ride made it only half-way to Saftey Day, finishing the trip in Bill Parisho's trailer. I get the bonehead-of-the-year award for forgetting to pack the front wheel bearings with grease before setting out!
