Fall color cruise . . .

The weather put a damper on things, but brave souls still come through in the face of adversity!
Rolla said: "Today we got the opportunity to assist some young ladies with a College project to make people aware of Occupational Therapy. This would have been a nice 180 mile cruise for many of the St. Louis Chapter, but with the temps not getting over about 38 today that didn't work out. However, Bill Cook and Terry and Sherri Burris did brave the weather and drive theirs. Danny, Butch and I chose to trailer ours over and I am glad we did Thanks for coming out and supporting the cause for these young ladies. They were very appreciative that we came over 90 miles one way to help their campaign of "Keep the Pedal to the Metal".

Where did the cruise start? Where did it go to? Where were the pics taken?

This was the agenda:

Rolla wrote, "Hey folks, it may be a little cool on Saturday but we are still doing the cruise to Carrollton IL this Saturday morning. We will be meeting at Danny and Karen’s house (St Peters, MO) about 9:20 and leaving there about 9:30-9:35. Be sure you are gassed up and ready to go when you get to Danny’s!!! We will be heading across the Ferry from St. Charles over to Grafton and then up through Jerseyville to Carrollton IL. We are doing this as part of a project for Butch’s oldest daughter for her college and it has been advertised so I don’t want to let them down. We will leave Carrollton around 1:30 Saturday afternoon and the temps will determine our route back.
UNLESS THE ROADS ARE WET, I PLAN TO GO!! If the weather is too cold, or roads create a problem, I plan to trailer my car over."
