The Fun begins the 8th and runs through the 10th of September. The meeting place will be the Artesia Inn on South US 285 about a half mile south of the last stoplight in Artesia NM……..This is the desert After all……
On Thursday Evening the 8th we will cruise to the Italian Restaurant in Hagerman for supper and Fellowship.
On Friday we plan on cruising to the NM Living Desert State Park in Carlsbad NM for about a 3-hour visit. Then we will cruise to the Lota burger for lunch and then back to Artesia to line up for the homecoming parade at 3 PM. The parade begins at 4 pm and after the parade we will cruise 26 miles east of town to have supper at Kelly’s Café in Loco Hills NM. Supper will be provided at 6PM, that means paid for, but you do need to leave the tip…. Then back to the motel for some bench racing and rest…….
On Saturday we plan on a cruise to the Bottomless Lakes State Park East of Roswell. Some time will be spent there and then back into Roswell for Lunch at the Golden Corral. After lunch there will be time to look at some of the aliens if you would like and then back to Artesia for rest and a Real Mexican Food Supper, I will be tired I don’t know about the rest of you…..
