Kim, I really don't know much more about it. My cousin contacted the company that built the cam, gave him all the specs regarding the tunnel, carbs, tranny and gears and they turned the cam.. He has the spec sheet on it. All I know is that it is extremely responsive.

The winter project took me out of the 296 hp to 360 hp group. The Dart 427 puts me in the 2nd to last group at 526 hp @ 5700 rpm. I've run two tankfuls with this engine and the 3.4 lbs per hp club is a fun club to be in.

Just a guess . . . 296-360 HP. (Chevy 350, flat-top pistons, Vortec heads, 4 bbl, mild cam.)

And, Lugnut . . . we're talkin' about your bucket, not your lawnmower!

HMMMMMMM does it count if my car is totaled, :( can i still play lol, my engine was a blue print crate motor, a 383 stroker with roller cam, according to blue print, they say i have 430 hp, 450lbs of tq, and as rolla says, i dont care if those are exact, but it is famm fast enough to make the little hair i have left stand up. lol of course i do want more, but this one will more than do for now. as far as Rolla's car, i know he gave my sons friend a ride, who thought he had a fast mustang, trust me when he got out of Rollas car, Rolla, my son and my self were laughing at him, cause he couldnt believe how fast it was. great ride :) when my warranty is up, im thinking of changing to a bigger cam and doing a few things to get a little extra umph

I should be close to 500 HP with a DART SHP 400 cuin SBC. Crower hydraulic roller
camshaft 562 lift and 236/240 duration. Scat forged rotating assembly, Demon 750
cfm carburetor and Brodix IK200 aluminum heads. With a 2.72 low gear and a 0.67
4th gear it will scoot pretty good and still get 20 mpg at 60 mph. Cruising at 70mph
I'm only turning 1800 rpm.
