Favorite build-style?

What build-style do you prefer, and why? Is it old school, Fad-T, mod-rod, nostalgia-T, etc. This is what you like, not necessarily what you have!

Seriously. I built my T in the exact style I wanted, based primarily on my memories of hot rods in the '60s. I grew up in Southern California in the '50s and '60s, so I was kind of steeped in the traditions of those times. I remember seeing the fad Ts of the '60s cruising Harbor and Whittier Boulevards, and I wanted to be able to re-live those times through my bucket.

So you guys tell me, what style is my T?

Right on, Windy . . . you gotta drive 'em! And, Lee - your bucket is a beautiful example of the breed, and - most important - it suits YOU!
I'll set up a poll and list some of the qualities of the cars of each decade that would typify a T from that era.

Personally, since I was a teen in the late '50's/early 60's, I prefer that look - ie. big-'n-littles w/ mags & wide black tires, chrome stuff, channeled body, short windshield, short bed, etc.

Welllll....my work in progress will be a strange duck. Someone who is an avid "Period correct" builder/researcher said the best description he could come up with is...

An early '40s T Modified class roadster, reworked to a post war Track Roadster class car, finally resurrected as a modern nostalgia econo-rod.

My personal choice is going to be a hybrid of styles: big-'n-littles w/ mags & wide black tires, chrome stuff, channeled body, regular windshield (with a CCR style top, as I do not like the look of the sawed off top), medium bed, blown small block (Prefer a Ford, but for cost reason will probably go with a Chevy - I keep dreaming about a real hemi, a nailhead or a flathead) and a 20 inch bed.
