I can't add anything to what the Spankster has told you regarding setting up your profile. Having to have a certain number of posts before you reply to a PM is a new one on me!! I'll have to do some research.

Rick, I don't see a setting in the Private Messages administrative panel that sets a minimum number of posts. If there is a limit, it must be a setting I can't access as a first-level administrator. Next time you see it, try to copy the exact message and post it for me, please.

I should have said that there is "NO REPLY" button to the PM I received.

When I try to compose a new message, that's when I get the error message shown below.

Hey Rick, same thing happened to me when I first joined. It was straightened out by "someone" who got my name registered with the forum, or something like that.!! lol Actually I'm not sure how it was fixed, but it was.

OK, here's the deal on Private Messages. It was decided when the board was set up that users must be Full Members to send Private Messages. The idea was there should be certain features and boards available only to Full Members to give value to being a NTBA member.

Is there a limit of 5 pics for non-members or is it for everyone? It won't allow
me to upload more than 5 pics.

The limit applies to everyone. It only affects pix that are uploaded as attachments. There is no limit (that I know of) on linked pix.
