Jay Albers posts on fb: "Feeling sick to my stomach. Just sold our beautiful 30k mile, never driven in the rain, 2006 Mustang GT to finance the motor for the roadster. To make matters worse. My son purchased the Mustang. He will drive it. It will eventually get it's first door ding. And I will get to watch the car wear with time. And that will make me sad.

On the brighter side, the roadster will run this spring. It's been down for just over 2 years. I dream about driving it. The new bullet will be pretty special. Brodix block and heads. Erson cam. Jessel shaft rockers. Dailey Engineering billet dry sump and pan combo. Callies billet crank with a set of Crower billet rods topped with custom CP pistons at 14 to1 compression. It will be a 4.125 bore with a long 6.250 rod and a 3.50 stroke. Keeping the cubic inches small so I don't run out of air at high RPMs. My goal is to turn it 9000, and make 700 at the wheels. To make sure I'll hit that number I plan on spraying it if I have to. It's going to help me forget the Mustang."
