Ok, If a person were to want a jag rearend in a t-bucket, what year,make an or model would he want?

If you can find a xke type they are the best. The xke has the same length axles and rear is in the middle. Most sedans have outboard brakes. Get one with inboard brakes. I used sedan xj6 axles and my rear is offset to one side. makes one rear tire run in line with front and other just wider than front tire. doesn't bother ride or performace, but makes some people confused. Mounted my center section in middle of frame.

Hey John I have two of these rearends , both out of xj6 sedans . Both have inboard brakes . Just as they came out of the cars .

The XJS V12 rear ends had positracs intalled. If you are using an overdrive transmission you will want to get lower ring and pinion gears installed.

I have a rear end out of a V-12. I am planning on putting a 7000R4 in my T.

A few questions:

1-What is the stock ratio?
2-What ratio do you recommend?
3-Where can I get the gear set identified in #2?

Mark,here is a great website to learn all about the Jag rearend. It's about putting a Jag in a Mustang, but the author did a lot of research on Jags and posted what he learned. Quite a bit on gear ratios...
