i don't know lugs.. i still see alot of members up for the bigger jobs.. whether its exec board or the chapters.. and i'm glad they step forward.. as for the newsletter there really wasn't alot of input anyways.. maybe we need a prez conner spot on the list...

I do at least try to type up a story for the newsletters that we do get, if you have noticed, now where are your stories? HELLO.....

I will chime in on the newsletter, as I was the "field reporter" for the newsletter for a couple of years when Dave "Pile-O-Parts" Duhigg was the editor. It was like pulling hen's teeth to get anyone to contribute to the newsletter. I contacted every chapter president or rep in the NTBA and asked them to designate a contact for local chapter news. Of the few I got, only one, Dewey "Sparkplug" Burton, ever got me any material on a regular basis. I personally asked several of our more knowledgeable people to write tech articles. I got maybe two or three over that two-year period. Several others promised, but never delivered. I got in trouble for putting in too much news about the Cowtown Ts, because some folks thought the Kansas City group was dominating the NTBA. Well at the time, the KC chapter was by far the most active local T-bucket chapter, and since I happen to be a member, I could report the news and we would at least have some content for the newsletter.
Doing the NTBA newsletter is a very tough job. Just look at the turnover in editors we've had. Since I joined in 2005, we've had at least five editors that I can remember. If we want a newsletter, WE HAVE TO CONTRIBUTE TO IT!

I am working on them, LIFE has just got in the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should get one out this month.
