Kev,

I gots news for you, you'll be hard pressed to find a tire that is NOT made overseas. I use 'strictly" Cooper tires on all my vehicles except the trailers. I don't believe Cooper makes trailer tires, but I could be wrong on this. But for everyone's information, Cooper tires ARE made in the U.S. of A.

As a footnote on this.......now mind you I am NOT hammering or slamming another company here...merely stating facts. Diamond Back tires ARE in reality Cooper tires. How do I know this? I emailed Diamond Back Tires about 4 years ago and asked them point blank what the difference was between their tires and Coker? I had expected to get a two sentence email back from them....but it wasn't. It was more like four lengthy paragraphs explaining HOW they make their tires and whose tires they start out with and how old their tires are and when one orders tires up, that VERY same day they are made from FRESH stock. I was so impressed that this is where I purchased my white walled tires. Friend Wally from up here with his Model A...well he bought Coker tires.....he ended up 'giving" his tires away and went with DB.

All I am saying is "to each their own." Kevin did the right thing, he asked questions and he did research. He found out just as many of us have that trailer tires are NOT cheap nor were my Diamond Back white walls...and if I'm going to spend more than $400 on tires, I want to know ALL about them.
