Last day of cruising in the North Carolina mountains.
A little damp today but still fun.
Pack up and head for Townsend in the morning!

After a great time at the Townsend, TN. Nats we started for home. We went to the great little IGA store down the road and picked up picnic food then headed up over the mountain to our favorite spot "Chimneys Picnic Area"

Great spot where families play in the flowing water coming down from the Smokey's

After the picnic we headed up over the mountain to the Blue Ridge Parkway

After a few miles we found this scenic ride on the "Motor Cycle Trip Map" that was in our welcome packet! What a great map to have in the bucket! This ride was like the Dragon but with great countryside views.
