Is that what it is? Folks on the forum don't want to see production and acceptance of electric cars? All I can suggest is go test drive the Tesla and then decide if the makers weren't thinking of us hot rodders when they designed it. An 85 KWh battery in an electric with the performance of the Nissan Leaf would be a 400 mile range battery, but they choose to give us serious performance and a bit less range. Plus, shouldn't it be a US automaker that leads the way?
