Several questions arise from the picture of a somewhat unusually soiled SS-T. First of all, how many buckets of water did Jodie have to haul out of the lake or stream to wash it? How many hours did it take her to wash it? How many "borrowed" motel towels did it take ? How many ice teas did Windy drink while sitting in his lounge chair watching her? Probably told her she missed some spots also! Keep those pictures coming

Hey SST, a few more things, the manager of the motel we stayed at in Anchorage said he wouldn't worry too much about the strike. He was told the union wasn't doing it legally and will be required to stop it, he didn't divulge his source. Another thing was even if somehow it did hold up, the workers who are striking are more for loading and unloading freight and not really any cars, especially if the owner can drive it on board themselves. The ship-lines also have crews who can load some freight as well. He said he has taken the Ferry a few times and commented how some people even pitch a tent on the bow of the ship rather than stay in a room and they use duct tape to anchor the tents to the deck so a wind couldn't blow them overboard.

If you are looking for a really good pizza try the Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria on Old Seward Highway where it merges in with Seward Highway in Anchorage. Afterwards, be alert for a GIANT as you get on the Seward Highway which is the main road to go south. If you get past Diamond Blvd and don't find it, then you missed it. You guys are doing such a good job finding them I doubt I needed to say anything at all and you would see it. Again it is on Seward Highway ( not The Old Seward Highway).

One last thing is somewhere around just south of the 107 Mile Marker be watching the cliffs for something white. We traveled that part of Alaska 6 times and saw Sheep 3 of the 6 times. Usually cars will be pulled over which can be a real good clue :)

I really need to take time and learn how to post pictures.

All for now,

Hitec

Thanks Kevin, Laura hope you guys are having a blast!
I did get a email this morning telling me that our Ferry was cancelled ☹️ but depending on how long the strike is we could get rescheduled 🤞if not we will have to drive back and hope to make Logan!
We will be on the look out for the giant when we head to Kenai.

We did have a blast, but are now back home resting up for the next trip and taking care of a few chores. I do hope the strike ends and you can take the ferry. I guess one way to look at it is if you do drive back, you can just drive as you have seen it already. Well at least a part of the way. :D
Stay safe and have fun
