Summit Racing reports on fb: "We are absolutely stunned and saddened by the news of Chris Raschke’s passing at Bonneville Speed Week. Chris was piloting Speed Demon III in the quest for a 500 mile-per-hour pass at Speed Week. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris’ family. Just devastating news. Chris was a professional and, more importantly, personal friend to Summit Racing and will be irreplaceable in the automotive performance industry. God speed, Chris."
