Just wondering....speed

Post by Lugnut »

I don't know if it's just my computer. Now I know that my computer doesn't run at the speed of light, but is anyone else having a problem with this website in regards to loading up. Sure seems to react s-l-o-w-l-y.

That is a heat wave, since it is twice as hot as it was earlier.

Add several chunks of wood, but it's difficult to go back to bed once rising up at that hour and going outside. the col air feels awesome and makes me want to stay outside and work....but there's only so much one can do outside in less than 32* weather with jammies on. :-)

Heat wave "maybe" today...supposed to get up to 30*. Great temps for working outside with winter gear on of course.

Lugs I had a much better morning I woke up a 6 am it was 72 in the house, the gas furnace was working fine I went to the nice warm bathroom then went back to bed. Much better than going out to put wood on the fire. I did that years ago and now I love my gas furnace. :D :D :D
Been there, done that, hope to live long enough to do it all again.

It was so slow yesterday I gave up, but it's working much better today. Maybe fewer people on the intertubes today.

Bill,

Gas heat is all well and good, but you don't live where the temps get down in the single digits. We had a combined electric/gas bill back January 2011 and the total was over $700!! I CAN tell you that the electric portion was a small part...it was that cold up here and the house demanded more heat. So EVERY time I have to go out in the sub-zero weather such as I did this morning and yesterday morning...I just think back of the $700 bill!

December's gas bill was a mere $90. It would have been zip/zippo, but I had the gas furnace on in the shop as well as the house garage. Come Summer, the shop will have wood heating it as well as the house garage.

"If you're into T-Buckets, you'll be here for hours". .....Yeah, be here for hours just waiting for the darn page to load up. It's NOT my computer as I don't have any issues with others websites.
