DYNO At Carson City!! Please read and respond if Interested!
I spoke with Grease yesterday regarding his bringing the Dyno to Nats in Carson City. Besides the cost of fuel and having to bring two trucks versus one, this is a MAJOR time commitment on his part, which he is more than happy to do!!! We will help with the fuel cost but the time commitment is still on Grease. Our thought is unless there are at least 20 or more folks who will put their cars on the Dyno there is no reason to bring it.
If he brings it we would set it up on Saturday at the park and do the dyno runs during our show and shine. The question is HOW MANY OF YOU WILL put your car on the Dyno?? We will track the answers and let you know next week if it will be there or not.
For those that see this, plesase spread the word to your friends who might not get online so we can get a good headcount.
Thank you.

The Dyno would be fun. I'd get up there.

I'll be in the running for the lowest number, but what the heck! Count me in.

Normal is just a setting on my washing machine.

Good choice John. See how fun it is, like riding a bull.

Rolla,
Have you considered direct emails to all that are going to get a head count? I'm guessing maybe 20% are active on this forum, so maybe you could give a factor of 5 to the count here on this thread.
Chris,
So you don't have to take two trucks, is there any reason your dyno couldn't double as a transport trailer for your Ts?

Bob, over 85% of our registrations have been through the website
.. We have more than you would guess but many do not post, they just observe.. Grease is more than willing to bring it to Nats and we will need a team of volunteers to assist him when it is in use if he does. If we get a strong number of folks willing to to participate it will be there. As Grease said, he doesn't want to go to the trouble and then be twiddling his thumbs and I can't say I blame him.. See you in the not to distant future
