We always thought Moab would be a neat place for the Nationals, except it's a LOOOOOOOONG ways to anything else out there. But beautiful scenery!

I saw a sign in the RV park in Ely Nevada that said the local Walmart was only 398 miles round trip, and the one in Moab would be about 195 miles round trip, so yes it is even a long way to Walmart in that part of the world.........

On a similar subject, Tom Bodett (of the Motel 6 ad fame, "We'll leave the light on for you.") lived in Homer, Alaska, all the time he was doing those ads. That's about 1500 miles to the nearest Motel 6! I didn't realize Moab didn't have a Walmart. I know they have at least one fussy policeman.
