Converting to One Wire Alternator

Post by Stouttrout »

I had an issue with my two wire. Burned out the entire harness, Luckily it didn't burn down the car. So, I am switching over to a one wire and eliminating the mess. My question is, about the wiring diagram and route. I have heard multiple things, is this line of thinking right? My plan is to the run the Positive line from the Alternator to the Hot wire on the Terminal of the starter solenoid. Is this correct? Also, should I run a fusible link inline?

Any advice is very much appreciated--Dan
