gas tank cleanout

I haven't been in the T for a while & am ready to start it up again. My tank is dry with a little surface rust. I have an inspection plate to get down into it so I want to wipe it out before I put new fuel in it. Does anyone have any idea of what to wipe it out with? I thought WD40 just to get any loose stuff out. Is there something better? DPI

Kerosene or Diesel, either one will do a great job!
Sanity is NOT a Requirement, It Just Slows Ya Down!!!
