Well guys, while waiting to take the
bucket to the shop, I kept on looking for a solution and I found the problem. I really, was going crazy until I found out the headlight switch was the culprit.
It was so corroded and rusted it's a wonder it even intermittently worked.
Again, I want to thank all of you that posted a suggestion, they all made sense.
