Re: Swapping SBC to (BIG) BBF
Was hoping to start on the final assembly this past week, But I am still waiting on the front end parts from the chrome platter.
He said three weeks and this is starting the fourth. Also this past week the 304 stainless pipes and flanges for my zoomies came in.
I decided to polish the pipes before welding, This will make it alot easier then just touch up around the welds later.

Re: Swapping SBC to (BIG) BBF
Been waiting on the front end parts at the chrome platter for the past four weeks. So this week I went and made a new dash.
My old dash had a speedometer that didn't work but no tach, And my new trans doesn't have a place for a speedometer.
I will run a Tach, oil pressure, water temp, and voltage gauge.
This week I also made my own fuse, relay panel and wired most of the car. When i bought the car it didn't have any turn signals.
This was my first time wiring a complete car. I watched a few how too Youtube videos and It went easier than I expected
and alot cheaper. With in a few days after getting my front end parts back I should have about 95% of the car back together.

Re: Swapping SBC to (BIG) BBF
The past two weeks I started on the final assembly. The engine, trans, and drive train are all in. Front and rear axle are in
and aligned. This weekend a friend came over with his tig welder and helped me tack up the zoomies. I didn't want to take a
chance tacking it with my mig welder. With the small tacks from the tig welder it will be very easy to weld over them.
Once they're fully welded I will repolish around the welds. Hoping to have it running soon.

Re: Swapping SBC to (BIG) BBF
Well its been over a year and a half since I started my engine swap project. It went way over budget and five months behind schedule.
I am happy to say its done. (for now). I don't think anyone ever finishes.
All that is left is to bleed the brakes and align the front end and we should be ready for testing. I will post some videos on my
Youtube channel and Facebook page. I am also looking for an enclosed trailer so I can travel to more out of state events.
Thanks,
