T bucket shifter

Post by gary taylor »

I am interested in mounting a column shifter in my T. Has anyone done this or seen it done.

Yes I have seen it done the controling factor is do you have room for the column arm to move or will it contact the frame or engine. the one we did was on a bucket that had the engine set forward away from the fire wall which gave the required clearence but most buckets would not have clearence. You might move the arm up on top so that it moved sideways and use a cable to connect it but it might look a little strange. Good Luck and remember anything can be done if you throw enough thought and money at it. :)
Been there, done that, hope to live long enough to do it all again.

Lokar or somebody like that makes a cable shifter adapter that will use your regular column shifter.
