Using clevis on rear suspension 23t

I have a spirit kit and it uses clevis to attach to brackets on the ford 9" rearend. Has anyone used this setup and is it strong enough to hold up 425hp? Everything goes together nice and neat and looks good I'm just curious about will it hold up? If needed I can post a pic if it helps. Thanks

I'd be way more worried about that s10 rear end than those clevis' , yes they're strong enough... unless you're on a race prepped drag strip w/ slicks , you're gonna blow the tires off anyway , so , don't worry...

Thanks Dave that's why I did not go as the S 10 and went with the ford 9". I'm an old circle track racer and seeing that small clevis compared to what I used to run with my modified Made me worry about the Clevis. I'm only going to drive it on the street so it sounds like I'll be OK thanks for your input.

The original rearend in my 6-71 huffed, 500-ish hp SBC motivated T was an S-10 with Spirit's hairpins and clevises. It held up fine under fairly frequent burn-outs on 33x18.50x15 Hoosiers. I switched to a Jag rearend after a few years, and that S-10 has been running on a friend's T ever since with no problems that I know of.

Thanks for the feedback I was a little nervous when I saw that small clevis with the 3/8 bolts. All the pictures I keep researching I see a lot of higher hp buckets using the clevis pin attaching to the rear end. I went with a Ford 9 inch because that is what I was used to circle track racing. You have gave me piece of mind. Thanks.
