Sealing for primer . . .
What's the best way to seal exposed wood before priming for paint? The lip around my body tub is wood & bondo, and I feel like it should be sealed before priming.

Bill why not just use Fiberglass resin by itself then sand & prime....the surface would all be the same then, I think.......

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I like Mike's idea - seal it with fiberglass resin. And that's what I'm gonna do!

What assurance do I have that the resin will cure completely in just a week or so . . .? (I'm kind of eager to get this done!)
