BBC head bolts.

Post by cecil misner »

I need a smaller headed cylinder head bolt for my BBC with Edelbrock heads. The head bolts nearest the exhaust ports cause interference with the header flanges. I need a head bolt with a smaller head. Any suggestions.? :?:
It's not a toy if it takes two people to lift it.

ARP has 12 point head bolts that typically have a smaller wrench size to help with
re-torquing head bolts without having to remove the rockers.

Cecil, it seems you are asking about two different things. Are you looking for head bolts, or header bolts?
Wait......I think I understand. You're talking about the external head bolts, not the bolts under the valve covers.
