Total Performance T Bucket Steering

Post by Freewheeler929 »

Curious, it appears that you would not be able to remove the steering box by un bolting it and dropping it out from the chassis mount. My Total Performance has a hole in the floor that appears to be just big enuf to pull the box up thru the hole. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

I think you are right. Total put their steering boxes on a bracket under the floor, right in front of the brake master cylinder, and I don't think there was access to it from under the car.

Bill,

I believe the same, there is no way to get the box out from dropping out the bottom.

Thanks again for you help.
