2015 Green Bay Schedule of Events

After spending the weekend in Green Bay with Luggy and Lisa, we have a tenative schedule of events so you can beging to plan your week. We met with Luggy, Paul and Angie Vrooman on Friday evening and put together a tentative schedule. By Saturday it had already changed... Keep in mind this schedule probably will change some, as it did during the day on Saturday . My biggest concern is that there will be many folks who are going to run out of time..... We did.

Weds. Evening - First Registration followed by a cruise to the local car show at A&W.

Thursday - Early AM Registration will be open for approx. 11/2 horus.
Thursday will be devoted to cruising to and through Door County. Words arent enoguh for the beautiful scenery, winding roads, small towns along the lake, and shops that you will see and visit on Thursday. We are leaving Thursday evening open as i am sure many of you will be stopping frequently and getting back in the evening
IF I have staff available, we will open registration for about an hour on Thursday night.

Friday - AM Registration will be open for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Friday morning will be the ladies cruise followed by visits to Lambeau Field, Osh Kosh to visit the Experimental Aircraft Museum and Manitowoc to visit the Mari-time Museum where there is a WW2 submarine that you can tour through and the Railroad Museum. We are leaving Friday afternoon fairly flexible to allow everyone to do their own thing so to speak. FRIDAY EVENING will be hosted by Luggy and Lisa at their " Double Wide " for Brats and Burgers, and a nite at the Drive Inn. Yes there will be a LARGE outdoor Screen and a movie playing Friday evening. Watch for more info to come ..

Saturday - Early AM - registration will be open. Saturday morning will also be left a bit flexible so you have the opportunity to see things around the area. We will have the Car Show at the Tundra Lodge on Saturday from apprximately 11-4. During this time you might want to hit the Lambeau tour if you have not yet done so. We are only a few blocks from the stadium. The official event will end Satruday afternoon with the raffle items and the 50/50 being announced.

We are still debating on when we will fit the National Meeting into the schedule but it will probably be either Frday late afternoon OR Saturday morning. Again this will be firmed up shortly but I wanted to make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy your visit and see the sites

It sounds like the Green Bay area has a lot to offer. It is a long haul for us but we would like to make it - haven't decided yet.

We're intending to make it. It will be about 1200 miles for us. We just about have to tow the T up, though, so we can be back home by Monday morning.

Are we racing Valve Covers this year?

We sure are racing Valve Covers this year. Everyone is invited and urged to bring one, "or win one in the raffle" and join in the fun. Sparkplug and his arsenal of racers will be handicapped this year by having to weigh 20 pounds instead of 10 pounds like the rules call for. He just doesn't know it yet. Mr Bonz will have to let him know. Seriously, the more the merryer when it comes to valve cover racing. We will set up and run them on Sat during the show and shine at the Tundra if thats ok with Lugster.
