2016 Nats Tentative Schedule of Events

Here is the Tentative Schedule of Events. Dates/Times are still subject to change this far out, but is pretty solid. I'll keep this schedule updated and fill in as necessary. We are still working on an Indy Car Shop tour and some other cool things.

Monday July 4:
• Morning: Cruise to Ray Skillman Collector Cars Annual 4th of July Car Show
• Afternoon: Local Cruises
• Evening: Group Dinner?

Tuesday, July 5:
• Morning: Breakfast Cruise
• Afternoon: Local Cruise
• Evening: Group Dinner?

Wednesday July 6:
• Late Morning-Afternoon: Long cruise to Ropkey Armor Museum/Parke County/Turkey Run State Park/Covered Bridges
• Evening: First Registration
• Evening: Ice Cream Cruise

Thursday July 7:
• Morning: Registration
• Late Morning-Afternoon: Long Cruise to Brown County/Nashville/Bean Blossom, Indiana.
• NTBA Bowling and Pizza Party at Sunset Lanes in Clermont Indiana.

Friday, July 8:
• Morning: registration
• Mid-Morning: NHRA Nitro Shop Tours (DSR/JFR)
• Lunch: Walt's Hot Rods open house- Free Lunch Cookout)
• Afternoon: Local Cruise

Saturday July 9:
• Early Morning: Registration
• Morning: Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and Track Lap
• Afternoon: NTBA Nationals Show at Clarion Hotel Lot
• Afternoon: Annual Valve Cover Race?
• Early Evening: Raffle/NTBA National Meeting?

Sunday July 10:
• Mornings: Goodbyes

The Valve cover track may not be in Indy this year.........Uncle Larry says he is not gona be there and if he ain't there the track won't be there.......If Ben can come up with one then we could have a race or two.............

I'm sorry, for not being able to go to the Nats this year. My boss selected the days that he wanted to be gone for a family reunion this year and put them on the office calendar. He beat me to the calendar and they are the exact days I wanted off. One of us has to be at work and guess who thats gonna be. I won't be able to bring the track this year so maybe Dewey or someone else can come up with a substitute track. Have fun without me. First Nats me and Aunt Pam have missed since the first one was held in Branson. Oh well life goes on. See everyone in Carson City next year

I was wondering if we were going to do a service project this year? Visit a retirement home or orphanage, or just help the community with some activity.

I firmly believe that we, as a family, should do a service project every year.
