See how effective that tire wash was?..........I just don't see the problem Big Dog...

....You don't even want to think about all that water going over your head, otherwise the Flume would not be leaking....................lol....

What's the story on the flume/aqueduct?

Lee that was built back in the CCC/WPA time frame to carry water from the Pecos River to the Carlsbad Iraigation System for the south side of Carlsbad. The water goes through a series of dicthes to all the farms south and east of town then back into the river way south of Loving & Carlsbad.....

...Back when I was a little boy, 60 years ago I was around 8 years old my Granddad & Grandmother lived about 5 blocks southeast of where BD took these photos and we played on that thing not knowing that we were not supposed play there.............Just a bunch of kids having fun, just like now, a bunch of OLD Kids having Fun........The memories that we make & when we make them..........
