Re: POD 10-4-26
The Dymaxion was the brainchild of Buckminster Fuller, an art-deco era (1930's) thinker and designer of vehicles and buildings. His ideas were somewhat bizzare, and sometimes brilliant. This vehicle with it's single wheel steering in the rear made it easy to maneuver in narrow streets or parking lots. It had room for 11 people, and a streamlined shape that made 100 MPH possible with it's flathead Ford V-8 engine. However, at highway speeds it was very unstable and resulted in a fatal crash of one of the prototypes. Still an interesting concept.

Re: POD 10-4-26
Thanks for the details. I was thinking that if it were the back wheel doing the steering, it could easily become a hand full, FAST !!
