Location looks great. I laid my steering box in to high, ended up raising my radiator an 1" - - learn by doing it over, I'm getting good at that part....

That's great. We are looking forward to seeing all the T's up close and personal in Indy.
Appears as if you are moving forward very rapidly! May I ask - - What will your pan to ground clearance be when finished

Shooting for 4" . . . maybe a leetle bit more. (I know, I know - too low, but . . . I like the channeled look!)

Understand "Low Is Awesome". Been there too, Bill. After bending pan several times (no punctures) I built a skid plate under it. I don't bend the pan any more Mike thinks skid plate would be good for the Baja.... After leaving Tucson, I hit the tranny housing a couple times coming home, so will be putting an extension on the pan skid plate to cover the C6 also. Being low does have an advantage, tho. Along with an old (rusty) sprint car straight axle, my T loves the local 1/4+ mile oval track!

That skid plate would work well on a rock crawler with no damage......trust me on this... ....but low does have is problems I rasied mine about 2 inches from the place it was when I got it, now no more bumps in the cruise......I am now about 5 inches at the lowest point (the trans bellhousing)........Just watch it at 4 inches, those bumps on the road will hurt some.........

My Slamguard pan has certainly paid off...



I only have 3-1/2" pan clearance!!

hmmmm, 3 1/2" would be great, 4" be wonderful I have 2 3/4" between the skid plate and the road. 3 3/4" at the transmission, therefore the skid plate is a necessity for me. Not a great pic, but you can see the 1/4" plate that has become the "Protector" in my case. I will be adding another 30" (3/16" plate) to give the C6 the same protection. We travel a lot in wild country, lots of rocks fall to the road, rocks tear open pans, so I'm hoping this will be cheap insurance.
