Made some noise today!
What a sweet sound . . . a scratch-built engine comes to life :)!

Like most guys have, there were a few problems: minor water leak from lower radiator hose; air cleaner element burned after a backfire :evil: ; oil leak from my one-piece rear main seal :roll: ; ran hot due to stretched belt that slipped and didn't turn the water pump at proper speed :shock: . Otherwise, a great day in the garage! :D

Drove around the block today . . . Woooo-hoo! :D Still some tuning/wiring issues, but it moves under its own power (and . . . sounds like a hotrod! :)! :mrgreen: )
