Green Bay Funny Run

Post by Lugnut »

Ladies and gentlemen,

I have two more venues to lock in and will then post a schedule of events along with departure times. For those out of towner's who would like to take a tour of our hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field, and from all accounts of the folks who took the tour in 2015, it truly is something to see. Heck we've lived here for 23 years and have only seen the field from our season tickets seats. Anyway, there are tours avaialble, but there are NO discount tickets. I WILL have all this information for you as well.

I have added three additional venues from the 2015 Nationals as far as places we are going to see/visit. :)!

Regarding Iola, as was in 2015, registration is FREE, but you have to pay for your own meal. Also, you will be happy to know that you can remain there for as long as you want. There is no deadline as to when you have to leave, although I DO believe Old Red T (Chad) has something up his sleeve, regarding a venue that we will be stopping at on the way back to Green Bay....on the return trip from Iola and Chad's little stop over, we will be passing by "Doc's" and from what I hear and understand, they have GREAT food and the place is a museum of sorts as well...lots of cars and motorcycles. If you choose to eat else where's that is fine.... If you have a chance, Google "Docs Harley" in Shawano, WI. Take a look for yourself.

For the folks coming in early, just as in 2015, Wednesday evening from 4:00 - ??? is Cruise Night at the Howard A&W and those early birds in attendance, we will be going up as a group. A&W offers 10% off all food items if you arrive in your hot rod. We had quite the showing in 2015 and we were well appreciated. These folks see only 2-3 t-buckets on any given Wednesday evening, but when we rolled in with about 20 or so buckets, it was a sight AND sound to behold.

Thursday WILL be an all day cruise to Door County, but please understand, NONE of these cruises are mandatory as there is plenty to see and do around the Northeast Wisconsin area. There are basically two ways up and back from Door County and there is NO way anyone can get lost. Ask some of the folks who took the cruise in 2015 ...they will share many memorable stories, and ask them too about "the goats."

We hope the weather then will be as nice as it was in 2015.

Please note, that ALL info on the Green Bay Fun Run WILL ONLY be put out on this "OFFICIAL" NTBA website. If you have further questions, regarding parking of RVs or camping or whatever, please either call or email me: rootbeer1646@gmail.com If you choose to talk ear-to-ear...email me first for my phone number as I will NOT post it on here.

Before I forget, we do have one other hotel set aside for those of you with furry family members UP to 25 pounds. I asked this once before and received B.S. responses, so I will ask again, how many of you folks that will NOT be staying in an RV, will be bringing a family pet?

We are looking forward to seeing many of our fellow bucket heads up here in Green Bay. :)!
