We're still finalizing plans and routes, but here's what we're steering toward:

Thursday: Cruise North along the seacoast. Lots of ocean viewing. Nubble Lighthouse, President Bush's Compound, Bentley's saloon in Maine for Lobsta lunch and private car museum tour. Cruise back to local cruise night at "Hot Rod City", then back to the hotel. About 80 miles round trip.

Friday: Cruise West toward Loudon, NH, Drive laps around the track and pictures on New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NASCAR track), visit Northeast Motorsports Museum next to the track, then cruise back roads home. About 110 miles round trip. Looks like $25/car to drive on the track.

Saturday: Cruise South, backroads to a barbecue lunch. Cruise back to the hotel along the coastline to a private dinner/recap meeting in Portsmouth, NH. About 80 miles round trip.

We can't cruise East because the Atlantic Ocean gets in the way!

All cruise routes will be broken up with fuel and rest stops, probably 20 mile or so segments. It won't be a full day of driving.

New England Lobsta Run Info

Well, the first ever NTBA Lobsta Run is only 2 months away! We have a bunch or registrations from all over the country already, but the more, the merrier. Just a couple points of business...I spoke to the host hotel today and they noted that the negotiated rate is only for the week of our event. If you were to come early or stay late, you will likely pay their regular rate. Our negotiated rate expires May 15th, so if you plan to come, but have not reserved a room, you might want to think about it. As far as RV parking with hookups goes, there's really nothing right nearby, but there are a few places 15 minutes or so away. This is a very touristy area and the event is right before 4th of July so selection may be limited. Here are a couple RV park links you might want to try.

One more thing to anyone bringing kids on our Friday run to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the racetrack was very explicit in stating that BOTH parents are required to sign a waiver for the child to be admitted. I have a copy I can share if only 1 parent will be attending (so you can get the other parent to sign before you come).

We will be placing an order for event t-shirts soon. They will be for sale at the event for $10 each. We have a bunch reserved already and we will be getting a few extra, but when they sell out, they're gone. If you want to guarantee yours, make sure to indicate it on your registration form or message me.

Hey Ben, could we maybe work in a cruise to a “covered bridge” sometime during the week. Preferably one we can drive across and take pictures in front of. Internet says some of them are pedestrian only. It would be fun to throw Bruce (prez) over the side into the water. Is the cog railroad too far north to be feasible? Thanks for planning this adventure. The gal at the hotel says there is room to park trucks and trailers at the hotel, is that true

Hi Uncle Larry. Believe me, we tried to get a covered bridge and cog railroad in this run, but it just didn't work out. Those bridges are to the NorthWest of where we will be. If (when) we do another run, we would like to have it up that way. We wanted to capture as many "Must-sees" as we could for first time visitors. We're giving you the ocean, lighthouse, lobsters, lake, racetrack and view of mountains. Alot packed into a short time, but not overwhelming. This one is gonna be fun. Here's a picture of the hotel parking lot. The hotel is directly off of the highway. Can't miss it. Bruce will be coming early and we will enlist his help to configure the parking.
