The Western Regional Nats are complete!!

Post by Rolla Hessel »

What a week we had in Takima Washington at the first Western Regionals. Ceec put together a great week of cruises and an all around good time for all of us that attended. We had folks here from 9 states and I think, last count was 28 T's with some of the locals coming out.

By Weds evening Uncle Larry, Windy and Jodie had racked up over 600 miles in the Mountains!! Some of the most beautiful country I have seen in the past few years thanks to Dan Lisbony as he let me ride along with him. We had quite a few folks that got to experience our definition of NTBA Family for the first time here in Yakima. I know there have been some pics hitting both the NTBA site and FB thanks to John and Kathy Foppe, Windy, Jodie and Uncle Larry so I hope you have got to see what you missed through their cameras! A BIG THANK YOU to Ceec, for putting this event together and John and Kathy for handling the registration, raffles and 50/50's.

We still have a number of events left to enjoy this year so be sure to get out there and enjoy our family! :)!

Howdy to all,
Since I have no idea as to what I may be doing here I hope this turns out right.
First I would like to say a great big thank you to the Alliance for putting together this Rod Run as it has been one of the best that have I ever attended. Tim being the outgoing person that he is felt right at home as well. He had a great time. I know that there were many involved in the success of this event but being lousy at remembering names as I am I would just like to say thanks to all involved. As far as the runs went I enjoyed the "herding cats" affect as everybody got a chance to go different directions and see different things. Those of you that traveled up to the summit, I hope you have all dried out by now. Ha!
I was impressed by the variety of Buckets but more importantly ( as per Rolla) the neat people that I got to meet and hope to see again in the future. I thoroughly enjoy talking to people of my generation that at least I have something in common with. Ha! Getting together with older people and talking about cars rather than our ailments is the best part.
I hope everybody had a safe successful trip home. We did as well. Ceec, I hope to talk to you again soon. Rolla, we finally got to meet face to face. Can't wait to see the beer wagon. You all take care and we will be anticipating the next time we can get together. May God Bless you all and thanks again for a great time.

Hello Tom and Tim, Thank you sooo much for being here. You guys were wonderful and YES, Tazmo is terrific. It is sooooo good to see new people and new people that want to participate. I feel blessed to have been a part of it.

Let's do it again, eh!!??

Karen and I enjoyed the meet. It truly is great meeting people even if I can't remember names - it is like making new friends every year. :D We are giving the Nationals in Green Bay some serious thinking, but that is next year.
