BBQ Schedule

First off, I want to say everything is subject to change to fit the weather and the needs of everyone that shows up. I can't promise to make everyone happy, but I can listen to the group and majority rules.

Wednesday evening I have made no plans. If there are people here we will try to gather and have a dinner cruise.

Thursday morning I have left open simply because it seems very few people will be here until lunch or a little after. There again we'll gather with whoever is here and do something if that's what is wanted. Thursday I think several will be here, so I have planned a dinner cruise. I plan on meeting at the Super 8 in Strafford between 2 and 2:30 (actually I'll probably try to be there earlier than that to greet anyone that has arrived). We'll leave there and cruise the backroads to Lebanon to a great little steakhouse I know of. Per Google maps my route is about 55 miles. We'll probably come back down Old 66 (about 40 miles).

Friday Dennis and I have a few possible ideas, we might go as far as 100 miles one way. We are just waiting to see who is here and how rainy it looks. Plan on leaving in the morning. Cruising to lunch. Get back mid afternoon. I'm still waiting to see when everyone gets here to say when we will leave. Tentatively, plan on meeting at the Super 8 about 9:30 AM. We will discuss with everyone Thursday about where to have breakfast, so that may well end up a breakfast cruise too.

Saturday morning I have left open to go to the NSRA event at the fairgrounds. I will talk to everyone, and we will do a cruise if anyone wants to instead of the NSRA event. We will meet Saturday afternoon at the Super 8 for a cruise to my house for BBQ. Plan on getting there before 2:00. I want to leave Super 8 at 2:00 for about 30 or 40 miles of cruising to my house.

Friday & Saturday night plan on cruising Glenstone at least once in Springfield. On a good cruise night with NSRA in town there is probably over 1000 hot rods cruising from about 6:00 to about 10:00 b both nights. And of course there will be bench racing at the motel parking lot.

Sunday I have made no plans, but if a few want to do something, then we'll find something to do!

BBQ Details

Just as before, I'm going to cook up burgers & brats on the smokers. Trust me if you've never had a smoked brat, your in for a treat. I'll get the meat, buns, paper plates, and condiments. Everything else is pot luck. Bring whatever you want. I'm not keeping track of who's bringing what so if you call and ask "what should I bring?" I'm just saying "bring whatever." There is a Wal-Mart super center less than 5 minutes from my house (with a Murphy's gas station) so if we need something we'll just go get it.

My phone number is 880-3559 call me if you need. I will be working Monday thru Wednesday, so please call after 5. I'm off after that so call whenever. Tammy's phone number is 880-3458, and she is not working this week so you can call her whenever. If you are running late for showing up to cruise at a scheduled time, call and we will wait if we can. Our area code for the above numbers is 417.

Also to help me with final planning, roll call please post below if you plan on coming, when you plan on getting here, and where you plan on staying.
