Jodie and I are thinking about taking highway 2 from St.Ignace ,Mi. to Washington next summer and I see it goes through Minot! Have you traveled some of highway 2 ?

Highway 2 in ND is all 4 lane. Heavy traffic in the west part because of oil boom. We drove on it to Havre MT & it was in good shape. Should be real scenic drive. When we came home from Choo Choo, we drove it from Duluth back to ND. Road was in good shape. If you want to see small town America it would be a great highway to take. If you come thru here you will have a place to stay. Plus it goes thru Glacial National Park. Plan on a couple days there. It is like Taho on steroids. Must drive the Highway to the Sun. Only open a few months out of the year.
