Register t-bucket Michigan

Post by fiesta »

I had my car inspected by the Michigan state police and they said it will be titled as a assembled vehicle, which means it needs a washer system for the wipers has anyone had this problem if so what did you use for a washer system. They also wanted bumpers so I will have to put some Nerf bars on.

My 26 was built in Michigan in 1963. I transferred it into Idaho, kept the Mich VIN #, but Idaho titled it as a 1926 Ford T-Bucket!! These laws for Hot Rods are very inconsistent all across the country. Theft seems to be a real problem that drives the tough stance most law enforcement takes. BUT washers for wipers????

Wow, I do not even have any wipers, but keep a couple bottles of RainX in the car. No fenders either - - dontchano we love all the nasty road water washing off the INSIDE of the windshield....    We just have to zip in the curtains before the rain starts :)! :)!

Like I said in the other box same subject, I had it inspected once by a master tech (he may have overlooked the water/washer part since he built it as well) and have not had a problem. Why the SP inspection, is that normal in MI?
