Schedule

Post by John Brown »

OK guys we're almost here.

Today is Wednesday and I'm still getting ready. Gota go to Sam's and buy some supplies. It's time to run the possible cruise route and check for hazards, road construction etc.

Tomorrow Thursday hoping to see some of you take me up on putting cars up in the air and checking them out. We want a SAFE cruising season. We'll play it by ear when it comes time to eat, but I could see a cruise to dinner. I already got one in mind.

Friday we'll put a few miles on these cars. Meet at the Super 8 in Strafford and head out sometime between 9 and 10. We'll get lunch while out and be back in the afternoon. Friday evening should have plenty of cruising on Glenstone in Springfield to keep your heart pumping.

Saturday is the main event. Everyone is welcome for a full day of bench racing etc. out at the house, or go to the fairgrounds and enjoy the NSRA show. We'll do something simple for lunch if you're here. I hope to see everyone pulling in between 2 and 3, we'll eat around 5:30 or so. More cruising in Glenstone Saturday night.

Sunday & Monday for travel time, drive safe!

You can call me at 417-880-3559 if you need me. If you've never been to the house, I'll meet up with you somewhere and show you to it. Or if I'm to busy I'll find someone to help you.

C ya soon!!

John Do you have a checklist of the items that you check when the car is in the air?

Mark I've not setup a checklist. I'm definitely not an expert, I just know that not everyone has access to a lift and by putting the car in the air and putting multiple eyes on it maybe we can catch a few things that you wouldn't otherwise. A checklist is a great idea and if we put our heads together in a constructive manner, I bet we as a group could come up with a good one.

I have asked about this enough. I am traveling to STL to see the kids and Roger Waters for Memorial Day. When I get back, I will start on the list!

Is anyone interested in proofing my first pass before I publish it here?

Advise!
