I am the third owner of this truck..My dad bought it in 1961 and I got it in 2001.......
This was the Demonstrator truck for the Ford house in Belen New Mexico in 1956....It has an 272 V8 with Automatic trans and Custom Cab.......The paint you see now is about 35 years old and was one of the first Metal Flake paint jobs done in Belen back then.....The white body & blue fenders is a custom paint code done at the factory for this pickup........the only option that was available in 1956, that was not ordered on this truck, was a wrap around back glass....... That is the option I wish was on the truck today......O' Well I am not going to install one at this late date....
I thought you folks might like to see My truck today.......Dads birthday would have been last week....
I think I need to get out of its little storage box and drive it a little this weekend................
There you go..........Mike
