rear shocvk brackets

hi everyone
going to get the rear shock brackets on the rear axle this weekend. have qa1 coil shocks , spirit frame , 8.8 mustang rear. what is angle/degree shocks should be or preference. also putting on panard bar, but I think that will be pretty straight forward. any advice will be helpful. will post some pics later as shock brackets were cut for fater axle and don't know if I can use them now on my thinner rearend,

Paul,
The straighter up & down the better shock works so I always tried to go with the the least angle I can use.....

The pan hard bar needs to be a flat as it can be when the car is loaded so start with it high on the rear end side cause the frame will be the anchor on the other end.......

I like my shocks leaned over a little... I like the looks better than straight up. Mine are leaned over the same amount as the stock ones were in the factory installation of my rear end... about 20 degrees.

I would replace those brackets, and maybe separate the shock mount from the radius rod mount so you can position each for clearance--body/bed mounting. Call RPM if you have questions. Bruce
