Let's kick it up!!
I've been asked to get going on this Chapter, CATS. I will do that and ask for your assistance. So...Please post a picture of two of your T and some family information.
I have a logo already and we can use it or design another one. I'll will try to post the logo as soon as I can figure out how. CATS gas put on one event, Yakima 2014, that was pretty successful. I have also been asked to organize another one, so please tell me where you would want the event to be located. So far I have thought about Medford Oregon, Yakima Washington, Bend Oregon, Couer d'Alane Idaho,
Please give me some suggestions. I am retired and can work pretty hard on the event planning. I know what to do (kind of) and I know what NOT to do. My golden beebee would be to host the National Event in Boise Idaho.
So kick it around and let's se what we can get done.
Cecil Misner, President CATS.

Re: Let's kick it up!!
Hey Cecil. Super excited about seeing some life starting in CATs country. I'm all in for any event location you choose. Bend is awesome, heck, all of the locations you mentioned are great. Count me in, and I'll see if I can stir up some T's interest here in the valley. Of course, we'll have to stay home to do that
Sandy and I are leaving for Indy on the 28th of June. We plan on making a real road trip out of the Nationals. We have decided to take US2 from Everett to St. Ignace, Michigan (west end to east end). Then south to Indy. Neither of us have been across the northern reaches of the country, so we will get to see a lot new scenery! Gotta get my T's front end up in the air and give the King Pins and all the zerts a shot of grease, fill the tank and it's ready for the journey. We hope to be in Monroe early afternoon, as we intend to stop in Wanatchee for the night.
Any of the T's up your way want to travel along for a few miles, be mighty proud to have some company of the CATs T's..............lyle

Re: Let's kick it up!!
I'm a kickin' and a grinin' to get some pix and commentary on this page.......
Sandy and I joined the NTBA October 2015. Attended our first event in Tucson, Az. the first of November 2015. What a great event, and fantastic people we got to meet. They were the best, ever. We were treated to area cruises that were memorable and the sights will last forever. Our second event took us to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in April 2016 - - super event - - friendly folks and what an accent they all have!!! Loved it, it even quit raining for all five days we were there. Now we are looking at the Nationals in Indianapolis for our next cruise.
We are a "Couple", we both have kids, but do not let them interfere with our desire to wear the tires off the T. She had a boy/girl (two grands), I have two boys (6 grands). We are both committed to live our lives burning the tires off the T. Yes, we drive it every where. The two wheeled trunk attached is a necessity, and we have already burned off a set of tires on it!!
We welcome any of the T's to drop in for a visit, or a couple of days id so desired. I'm sure we can help you burn up a few gallons of 87 octane, 91 if need be. I also have access to 110 octane if you really feel the NEED! Have a BBQ, covered deck, lots of parking for motor homes, pool and shop space for repairs if needed.
Well, there we are in a rather short nut shell. Be glad to meet some more folks as they post some pix and info about themselves..........lyle

Thanks for the showing of interest. Your trip along HWY 2 will be awesome. I did it in my old 1061 GMC pickup towing my teardrop trailer when I went to the NTBA nationals in Hannibal, Missouri. Please stay involved and we will see some great events in our area.

Re: Let's kick it up!!
As the "New Guy" on this block (sortof), I also be the renegade that drives my T everywhere. I really did not realize that Sandy and I are in the minority as T travelers go... We just ain't old enough to have a motor home yet
As a retired truck driver, been on lots of main roads, but how we do like traveling the 2 lane back roads.
We just hope we won't need a passport to travel state to state in the coming years!
Keep me posted Ceec, as we WILL always be up for a road trip to any spot that is picked for a T-Bucket rendezvous!.............lyle
