Had to replace the fuel gauge sending unit in my 60 year old 1956 Ford Pickup with a 1955 Pickup fuel tank....some lathe work was required.......They used a much larger sending unit foot print but it only took me two days to make the adapter.......Darr would have made it in about 1 hour and still had a break in there.........But that is OK I work cheap....LOL.....
AND Yes I had my boss watching.......

You know Bill if I did not know any better I would think you were in the shop today, because I did, for just a little bit, try to do just that........The horn and the gas sending wire were almost the same color..........But I caught myself before I cut the horn wire........

The '56 now has a working gas gauge.......... :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)!
