Best method to keep carpet from sliding around

Post by Jgard »

What has everyone used to stick the carpet to the floor so when you’re getting in and out it is not wanting to slide around? I did not know if adhesive, Velcro or fabricate some sort of edge trim to hold the back and sides to keep everything in place.

Any tips would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

Jgard,

Presently I am in this same boat. I had screw-in devices in my late F-150. I'm trying to locate them again. My floor mat in the LGSM keeps moving forward. IF I locate the item in question in next couple days, I WILL post on here. This device was made of plastic/nylon and consisted of two parts; first part consisted of a male/female insertion. The male part "screwed" into the carpeting and second part screwed through the mat and then into the to of the first part. Worked very well...just can't recall where I got them....somewhere locally.

Will let you know as soon as I find them again.
