Had a bout of the death wobble

Lee, I put 40 miles on today and it seems to have also corrected another problem. I had a M/T front tire that I thought was bouncing so I installed Bilstein gas shocks,still have the bounce. Installed Dyna-Beads still had the problem.Turns out what I thought was bounce was (line disturbance) info from M/T. Line disturbance is when the tire tread is not true with the tire rotation (wobble). From the driver seat looking at the right front tire it appears to be bounce. You would not detect this on a car with fenders. This little stabalizer has fixed my front end side to side movement due to line disturbance even using this tire however M/T said they will replace this tire as an exchange. Not the best looking place for the stabalizer but it is chrome and works, go for it!!! Thanks to all who have helped with information on this subject.

Thanks for the reports, guys. I'll have to give it a try if/when my death wobble comes back. I just put new tires on the front and that seems to have cured it for now.

Lee, I have it place and love it!!! I had to alter the one clamp because it would not get very tight on the 3/4 diameter rod. Not a big Problem. If I knew how to post a photo I would.

It is getting cooler up here now, but mnaged to take the roadster out today for a few miles, it steers and handles so well now, I'm very pleased with mine and doesn't look half bad under there.

Up date, love it this has made such an improvement. I now have a front axle that no longer wobbles or bounces and it looks good also. Thanks for the help.

Jim do you have any contact info? I have a set of M/T that do the same thing I pulled them off and got some new tires they are just sitting in the shop Summit Racing was no help

Gilbert, I just googled M/T and got a direct number and registered a complaint,after that I returned to Discount Tire and they took over from there. I will look tonight to see if I have that phone number.
