Hi All,
I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas and a great Holiday Season, and Santa brought lots of car parts! I figured you may want to start the new year by reading and making plans for the 2023 NTBA season. So here is the schedule of events :

The Southern Rumble: January 21-22
Oamaru, New Zealand

Top of Texas: May 5-6
Nazareth, Texas

NTBA Nationals: June 11-16
Biloxi, Mississippi

Back to Townsend Fun Run: July 20-22
Townsend, Tennessee

The Show Me State Missouri Fun Run: September 7-9
Location is to be determined

New England Lobsta Fun Run: September 20-23
Kennebunkport, Maine

The Bare Bones Tucson Fun Run: November 3-4
Tucson, Arizona.

The hotels will be posted along with this list on the website. Still working out some details, but these dates and location’s will hold true. The Missouri event is still deciding on the town. We have some choices. The hotel for nationals is posted now on the website.
I again encourage all of you to make hotel reservations early, and then cancel later if your not going to attend. This next year the hotels are telling us there not giving us as many rooms and there filling up fast. Business is booming for them and they’ll sell the extra rooms after our cut off date is up.
2023 is going to be a lot of fun for driving our cars and seeing family and friends. See you there!

Hi All,

Townsend is now in the history books, it was a great event that turned out to be a lot of fun! All thanks to Cory!
Contrary to what people reported, we only got rained out one day. The other days had some spotty rain showers but also had more sunshine and drivable windows.
Our next events in September are The Show Me State Fun Run in Springfield, Missouri followed by by the New England Lobsta run in Kennebunkport, Maine. Then we finish with the Bare Bones Tucson Run in early November. We hope for good turnouts for these events because there’s going to be more great cruising with the family! Check the website for exact dates, and make your plans. Pay attention to hotel registration cut off dates so you don’t miss the room blocks.
The 2024 schedule is still open for more event dates. If you want to host an event in your area contact a board member, and read about “how to host an event” on the NTBA website information drop down menu. We still have a lot of fun places to see in this country!
We hope to see you at our next events!

A Note from the President

Hi All,
This is election year for the NTBA. We need members to run for positions on the board!
Under the information drop down menu on the website, is the information on running for office. Interested people must submit their name in January, no later than February 1st. The positions open are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, and Sergeant At Arms. We presently have two candidates expressing interest, but we need more! My term as President was up last year but I stayed on for one more year because nobody came forward to run for the position. I will be leaving as of next Nationals in Branson in May. Dennis Neblock as VP and Lee Metcalfe as Treasure will also be leaving. The club is in danger of folding unless we get people to step up.
These board positions are not difficult and really don’t take that much time out of your days. There actually very rewarding by organizing and getting all of us together. Dennis, myself, and any past board members are more than willing to continue to help and assist on committees. It’s time for new people and new ideas for the NTBA future!
Anybody interested contact any board members for information.
Thanks,
Bruce DeAngelis

NTBA 2024 Events

Hi All,
This is our event schedule for the 2024 season. The hotels are ready for reservations for Nationals, Bowling Green and Elkhart. They will be posted on the website in the next few days. The other events hotels will post when there confirmed.

New Zealand Nationals
Hastings
February 1-4

NTBA Nationals in Branson, Missouri
May 19-25

Bowling Green Regional Fun Run
Bowling Green, Kentucky
June 27-29

Clubs Kansas City/ Missouri location TBD
September 5-7

Elkhart, Indiana
September 12-14

Artesia, New Mexico
September 19-21

Bare Bones Tucson Fun Run
Tucson, Arizona
November 8-9

Those of you that notice the three in September are three weeks in a row. First, that’s how they fell with the schedules of the hosts, and second, there is quite a distance between them that folks will probably just attend the ones in their region. However, some will attend more than one.
We hope to see you at an event, as always it will be a fun time!
